TruthTeller is a storytelling show started by Cecily Alexandria. It’s a show where people of color get the chance to tell their own tales. The show started in front of a bakery owned by a Black woman in Philly. But with the arrival of Covid-19, they started virtual story-telling sessions.
To tell her own story Cecily came up with the idea of making an autobiographical video to shed light on her childhood and her heart-warming relationship with her father. She wants to give out the message that despite the ups and downs in the relationship, we should adore them.
As the show went online, Cecily Alexandria wanted an animated explainer video that sheds light on her life in a fun and engaging way.
She approached team BuzzFlick to create an animated 2D explainer video for her virtual storytelling show. She wanted a detailed hand-drawn animated video that highlights the whole story creatively.
Her main goal was to tell her life story in an interesting way. Alexandria asked team BuzzFlick to unleash their inner creativity by making an insightful and captivating animated explainer video for her beloved audience.
Our proficient team of BuzzFlick and the project manager closely worked with Alexandria to gain a more profound grasp of her expectations and video project requirements.
From scratch, we created each character of her story and looked for the right style that could help us to create a compelling animated explainer.
Being very new to the animation world I had my concept but was unsure of the steps to get my project to completion. Kevin was very helpful in making sure I was within my budget and made sure contracts and agreements were signed beforehand. My project manager Sara was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire project. She was organized, talked through concepts and changes that were necessary with ease. I absolutely recommend working with them and I would consider working with them again if I should have another animation project. Very grateful for this team.
